Apart from this last one (which has been hammered), all of Liz's testers above were done through the roller press. I had not realised before looking through these how soft copper was- the feather one definitely showed how many possibilities I hadn't even looked at yet.
I really liked the bird shape- not only because the paper template it was pressed with has given a really sharp engraving, but also the oxidized black made the pattern stand out even more.
